Shop Latinx-Owned

Shop Latinx-Owned

Over the last few years and Latina/x-Owned businesses are the fastest-growing segment in the United States, and yet, we continue to be overlooked and underfunded. While we are working hard to close the funding gap, we have a long road ahead of us and can only achieve our goal with the help of our community.

In addition to education & amplification, one of the best ways to be an ally and support the Latina/x community is to shop Latina/x-Owned businesses. We hope that you will be inspired to support with your wallet and spread the word, and share these incredible businesses with your friends, families, and networks.

Don’t forget to show us your SWO Latinx purchases, give us a shout @LWLGlobal and let us know so we can celebrate with you!

The Pinole Project

Founder Maya Jacquez builds connections through the Aztec superfood Pinole - a mix of protein, chia seeds, & heirloom corn. Growing up, Maya’s grandmother would make her warm bowls of oatmeal with Pinole. She has infused her love for family and culture in each delicious package.

Yo Soy Afro-Latina

With little to no representation of Afro-Latinas in popular culture, founder Bianca Kathryn felt disconnected from her heritage. After spending time in Mexico, she was able to connect with other Afro-Latinas, and this experience inspired her to build Yo Soy Latina with the goal of “fostering a community that celebrates and honors Afro-Latinidad.” We love that Bianca has infused education, advocacy, and empowerment in each of her stylish pieces.

Pisqueya

Pisqueya is inspired by founder Marta Abreu’s Brooklyn and Dominican roots. Marta’s goal is to share Latin and Caribbean flavors through her delicious, preservative-free hand-crafted hot sauces.

Marta’s sauces are SO good and can be used on food and in cocktails.

Bonus: Pisqueya supports stray dogs, and they donate $5 with every t-shirt or sweater purchase to help pups in the DR.
