PRIDE 2021

Pride 2021

Quick history lesson: Pride Month is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States. June was initially celebrated as "Gay Pride Day," but the actual day was flexible. In major cities across the world, the "day" soon grew to encompass a month-long series of events. The purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally.

Besides celebrating Pride Month, the best way to further empower LGBTQIA+ business owners is to use the power of your purse when shopping for yourself or others. We have curated our top finds to our 2021 Pride Guide to help raise awareness of incredible founders and their products so you can keep them on your radar and share them with your networks.

If any of these brands are going out to the mammas in your life, give us a shout @LWLGlobal and let us know so we can celebrate with you!
