Ladies Who Launch continued to adapt during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, moving its programs online and expanding its mission to include direct funding for women and non-binary entrepreneurs. Through podcasts, founder features, virtual summits, and the Launch Program, LWL reached thousands of entrepreneurs and awarded $228,000 in grants to 20 business owners. The organization is now strengthening its infrastructure and impact measurement to serve more founders and help their businesses thrive.

In 2020, Ladies Who Launch quickly shifted from in-person gatherings to virtual programming, launching webinars, digital resources, founder spotlights, and its first Virtual Summit, which generated 1,097 registrations. LWL also created the Launch Program, raising $175,000 and selecting 11 entrepreneurs to receive grants of up to $25,000 alongside year-long mentorship. Together, these efforts delivered timely funding, practical education, visibility, and connection during an extraordinarily difficult year for small businesses.

Ladies Who Launch reflects on a transformative year of global events, powerful founder stories, and becoming an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uplifting women entrepreneurs. From Stockholm to Toronto, we’ve seen the magic of community, inspiration, and collaboration fuel bold business growth—and we’re just getting started.
